Are you looking to increase website traffic and drive conversions on your WordPress site? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

WordPress is the most popular and most used content management system (CMS) in the world! In 2016 Forbes magazine reported that WordPress:

  • Powers 25% of the world’s websites (75 million!)
  • Viewed by 409 million people monthly
  • Has over 23.6 billion pages
  • Receives 46.8 million comments monthly

If you’re just starting to think about website design and website building, Collide Digital recommends WordPress. Once you’ve built out your site, it’s time to think about WordPress Plugins.

In this article, we outline the best WordPress plugins, the best call to action buttons in WordPress, and more! So if you’re wondering how to take your website to the next level, this article is for you.

What Are WordPress Plugins?

A WordPress plugin is software. Each piece of software (WordPress plugin) allows you to add new functions to your WordPress site. These plugins enable different features that are not available in the standard version of WordPress.

WordPress plugins are especially useful for people who aren’t creating their websites using HTML. A WordPress plugin replaces the need for you to write complicated pieces of code, make important additions, and add valuable features to your website.

WordPress plugins can help convert leads, boost your SEO, and more. There are thousands of WordPress plugins to choose from. You can find them all in the WordPress plugin directory and add them to your site. Many are free to use, and some have free or paid options.

You can use multiple plugins at a time. There is no rule about how many plugins you should use, but only use plugins that add value to your site. And remember, because a plugin automatically adds a piece of code to your site, overusing them can cause technical issues. Typically this happens if two or more plugins are incompatible.

But using plugins correctly can drive your conversion rate dramatically! Let’s get into how our favorite plugins work and how you can use them to drive conversion.

  1. Elementor

We asked our Website Project Manager, Dylan Ho, what his favorite WordPress plugin is, and he chose this one. “Elementor is my favorite plugin, it’s the easiest all-in-one page builder that delivers you the most features for free!”

Elementor allows you to control your web design and workflow and has very flexible and easy-to-use options for website design. Use this tool for free, or opt for an upgraded plan starting at $49 a year.

  1. WP Popups

Popups can be an irritating addition to a website when overused. But did you know that websites with popups consistently outperform sites that do not use popups? WP Popups is an easy way to add a popup to your site without writing complicated code.

This plugin can be integrated with your email marketing tool, customized for size and position, and much more. And WP Popups even tracks analytics, so you get real-time data on your conversion rates. You can download WP Popups for free or choose a paid plan starting from $35 a year.

  1. WP Notification Bars

WP Notification Bars is a free plugin that allows you to create simple notification bars. Notification bars, also known as announcement bars, are a great way to drive conversions with a call to action (CTA). This plugin is ideal for directing visitors to specific pages on your website, growing your email list, and advertising marketing promotions.

The notifications bar will appear at the top or the bottom of the page and include your text and call to action. You can use the free version of this plugin, or the paid version starts at $29 annually for one site.

  1. OptinMonster

OptinMonster is often referred to as the best conversion plugin on WordPress. With a large variety of options, OptinMonster includes page level targeting, floating bars, geolocation, and more.
